Cairo

I am currently moved to Cairo after a long trip across the US. I have a lot to write about here: The dust storm, the labaneh and Taamia in baladi bread, the fact I need to write more poetry, the spectacle that US politics seems the longer I am gone. Indeed, my memory seems longer the more I am outside the states, when you are constantly dealing with knots that have 7000 years of baggage, 250 years doesn’t seem like much to keep up with. Internet is slower here, and my work and writing keeps me busy, but I will be shifting back to writing here.
